Universal Eco Foundation(UEF), actively involved in conservation of biodiversity in our Country mostly in and around Puducherry. It was established with a team of eminent Biodiversity Professionals, Conservationist, snake rescue specialist, field botanist, environmental education trainer, marine conservation specialist, GIS specialist, curriculum (environmental education) developer, wildlife documentation specialist and Sociologist as Trustees and registered as the Trust under Indian Trust Act 1882 at Sub- Register office, Puducherry.
We are focused on the following points:
Research:
Survey on flora and fauna in different landscape (marine, wetlands, terrestrial, etc) and with scientific backup, supports different expeditions.Landscape level planning for managements Conversational studies on endemic and endangered species
Public health
Awareness:
Biodiversity conservation education and public awareness programs to conserve local biodiversity.
Will also help Co-corporates, Developers, Government Agencies, and Municipal Corporations, to undertake environmental friendly developments thus promoting biodiversity. To create awareness among local and ethnic communities who resides proximity to forest resources. Solid waste managements and rain water harvesting
Rescue:
Universal Eco Foundation actively attains rescue calls from in and around Puducherry and works in coordination with other NGOs and forest department for rehabilitation and release of rescued creatures. Universal Eco Foundation have well trained people for rescue operations.

- Rescue of Turtles along the coast.
- Rescue of bird and mammals.
Educations:
Strongly endorses sustainable development and promotes conservation of natural resources. The NGO conducts lectures, nature trails, bird watching, butterfly watching, nature camps, biodiversity awareness, health awareness, environmental education, landscaping, plantation, cycle trips, clean and green programme and trekking adventure activities etc., where the team educates people about the need for sustainable environment and biodiversity.
Working with local community:
Provides solutions that can mitigate the negative impact of the development on the surrounding environment. Specially focusing local community (Livelihoods and Education) also engaging local communities in protection of Biodiversity habitats. We will focus on developing a village into an Eco-village by implementing community based Eco-tourism and thereby improving livelihood (Employment).
Watershed Management:
To promote watershed management by involving local communities such as (SHG, youth, farmers etc.,).
Organic and sustainable agriculture: To promote organic and sustainable agriculture and solid waste management.
Training: To promote training on above objectives (Biodiversity Survey, Biodiversity Awareness, Eco-tourism, Landscaping, Plantation, Nursery, Watershed, Solid Waste, Sustainable Agriculture etc.,) to different targeted groups.
