Orientation programme to front line staff of forest department, villupuram district, tamilnadu, during the year of 2017 – 18

Universal Eco Foundation (UEF), actively involved in conservation of biodiversity in our Country mostly in and around Kazhuveli Lake. It was established with a team of eminent Biodiversity Professionals, Conservationist, Snake Rescue Specialist and Sociologist.

On 12th Thursday 2018, Tamilnadu Forest Department & Universal Eco Foundation (UEF) jointly organized half day “Orientation Programme to Frontline Staff (Forest Department)” for Villupuram District. Around 25 Forest staff (Forest Range officer, Forester, Forest Guard and Watcher) in various ranges such as Pichavaram, Tindavanam, Villupuram and Gingee were participated. This programme starts with registration and distribution of training kits to participants. In this connection Dr. M. Bubesh Guptha, Director, Universal Eco Foundation (UEF) gave presentation on Conversation of Biodiversity and Human Responsibility includes the brief description about tips for bird identification through bird sculpture, importance of snakes & symptom of snake bit and how to avoid getting bit, also discussed about census technique especially on birds of Kazhuveli. At the end of the presentation (questionnary session) we clarified all the questions raised by the participant.

Finally all the range officers namely, Mr. Periyannan,Tindavanam range, Mr. Babu,Gingee range and Mr. Venketesan, Pichvaram, gave a very good feedback about the programme & congratulated about Universal Eco Foundation (UEF), also memento of the event has been presented to Mr. Periyennan, Forest Range Officer, Tindivanam range.
